Position Purpose:
You will be responsible for creating and executing the go to market Videojet OEM strategy in line with global, regional and country requirements and specifically identified opportunities as well as applying the DBS tools in kaizen and develop and hiring an excellent team which is capable to build customer relationship on a high level.
The purpose of your role will be to effectively manage a direct team to gain share in focus accounts and OEM market together with local Videojet subsidiaries. At the same time you will also be responsible for initially focusing on achieving your individual sales targets within the OEM market, creating awareness of Videojet’s products/service/network and ensure that you keep up to date with individual OEM account developments through customer visits, individual reviews with your team members, training or attending relevant exhibitions.
To be a success in this role you will need to be tenacious with a strong business leadership and team building approach which, combined with having an out-going personality and consultative style, will effectively contribute you to be successful in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Deliver growth according to the strategic plan (top and bottom line)
? Develop account strategies/tactics and follow up frequently with Videojet’s OEM team.
? Work with customer key decision makers (VP, Director and C Level personnel) to understand their product lines, needs on all levels to offer the right coding solution Obtain corporate level agreements and product integration to use Videojet products and services, broadly as the “preferred” supplier internationally
? Closely coordinate with other Regional OEM leaders, VJ subsidiaries/distributors and specialty sales groups (f.e. GSA) to ensure that corporate level agreements and CBS get executed at the individual plant level.
? Interact with Product and Vertical Market Managers to identify and act on market trends, areas of potential competitive advantage, current product or service shortcomings, and unmet market needs.
Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in a Technical or Business field
? Minimum of 8 years’ account management experience in similar industry, preferably in OEM environment.
? Direct sales experience in the ink jet product coding industry would be an asset
? Strong oral and written communication skills with value selling mind set
? Results driven and possesses a strong sense of personal accountability
? Ability to travel 60% to 80% of the time
? Ability to think and plan strategically
? Demonstrated success in each of the described competencies in a business-to-business capital goods selling environment
? Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
? Team spirit with strategic action plan and leadership.
? Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
? Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
? Language skills: English is a plus.
? Solid knowledge Microsoft package, like Excel, Word, and Outlook
