EFEC Local Teacher (Part time)
Salary : 125 RMB/hour (Maxium 24 classes/week)
The role:
Local English Teacher plays a key role in EF schools. You are delivering lessons to the highest standards of English Language Teaching, thus enabling students to reach their personal learning objectives and become competent users of English as a Foreign Language.
Essential qualification:
1 Bachelor degree
Desirable qualifications/experience:
1 TEFL certificate, ex. CELTA, CertTESOL, TEFL, etc.
2 Masters in Applied Linguistics or English
3 English Language teaching experience
Essential skills:
1 Fluent in written and oral English
2 Computer literate in Microsoft Office
3 Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively across cultures
4 Interpersonal skills and a service mindset
5 Creativity and the ability to craft class materials
Job responsibilities:
1 Provide students with high quality lessons that integrate EF teaching methodology
2 Deliver demo classes to prospective students
3 Work cross departmentally to offer students and prospective students outstanding service in and out of the classroom
4 Provide feedback to students on productivity and progress
5 Complete all required administration to a high standard and in a timely manner
6 Actively participate in any required observation and feedback sessions, training, development meetings and informational meetings
7 Organize and lead referral classes and centre parties to satisfy both existing students and potential students
