PURPOSE OF THE JOB 设置此职位的目的
Researches and evaluates assigned video & access control security products with respect to Asia Pacific market demands (with focus on new economies like China, India), competition, and technology; prepares new product proposals, participates in product development and provides input to the design process and to accelerate the development process.
OBJECTIVES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 主要岗位职责
New product initiatives
• Researches assigned Video and Access Control security products. Recommends product advancement/improvement strategies and the Product Roadmap for Asia Pacific with strong focus on new economies such as China, India.
• Proposes new products for in-house development or OEM/ODM programs. Prepares new product business case including the performance needs of said products, economic feasibility, and cost savings recommendations, initial pricing, and initial sales forecasts etc.
• Lead product marketing function in OCP (Offer Creation Process), provides inputs to the design process, participates in Engineering design reviews & Project meetings.
Offer management:
• Represents Asia Pacific within global offer marketing function on security topics. Acts as a liaison with other departments for supplying product information or solving product problems as necessary.
• Facilitates competitive market research and market-positioning information on products in conjunction with Security Business Development Managers and Sales Organizations in the region.
• Develops information for use in technical specifications and instruction manuals; prepares model numbering schemes. Prepares marketing handoff documents and supports a timely and efficient launch of new products.
Merge & Acquisition Support
• From product perspective, supports M & A initiatives including product evaluation, product competition analysis and the product synergies etc.

An Engineering, Electronics or Marketing bachelor’s degree from a leading university, master’s degree preferred. Overseas study and working experience is a plus.

Minimum 5 year working experience in security industry in one or more of the following areas:
• Video security is a must and access control as a plus
• System integration and installation experience
• IP-based network system
Languages : 语言能力要求
Multi/lingual: Fluent in English (both verbal and in writing) and Mandarin
Age requirement : 年龄要求
28-40
