Position Description:
Scope:
The IT Strategy Project Manager is a key role within the Corporate Business Transformation and IT Strategy team. The role is critical in supporting the setting and execution of IT strategy at Lenovo.

Report to:
IT Strategy Director

Roles and responsibility:
Drive the translation of business strategy into IT initiatives by working closely with different Business Unit/functions and internal IT towers
Defining and updating the overall IT strategy and support its dissemination, within and without the Chief Information Officer organization
Executing and coordinating a portfolio of key strategic projects in support of the CIO and the IT strategy
Support regular CIO communications with each of Lenovo’s senior leadership
Perform thorough technology research to define Lenovo’s technology strategy and roadmap

Position Requirements:
1.Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, able to structure problems clearly, thoroughly and systematically work through analyses
2.Able to build fact-based analyses to bring objectivity to challenging subjects
3.Familiarity with technology and IT background is required (e.g., application, infrastructure, IT management methodology, etc.)
4.Can prepare clear written executive communications in English
5.Good command of Microsoft office suite, especially PowerPoint.
6.Strong oral and written English skills
7.Clear top-down communication style and ability to grasp key messages and guiding thoughts
8.Self-motivated and ability to creatively identify methods to achieve a goal
