POSITION SUMMARY:
Schneider Electric is seeking a creative, organized, and experienced individual to fill the position of Graphic Designer. Responsibilities include development of marketing design projects from concept through final implementation: industry research, analysis, idea development, concepting, presentation and explanation of design solutions, layout, and performance evaluation. The graphic designer will uphold the design quality and brand identity in the development of packaging, point of purchase and retail graphics, experiential displays, advertising, publications, direct marketing, sales tools, corporate identity and training materials. High energy, high creativity, creative concept development and presentation skills are needed. The graphic designer will be expected to meet all project deadlines, production and technical requirements, and work within project budget constraints. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with the creative team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will ideally possess a BA or BFA degree or equivalent in Design, Fine Art, or Communications and have 2-4 years of related experience as a designer.

KNOWLEDGE DESIRED:
- Excellent English (prefer native speaker) and Chinese
- Strong design and organizational skills in creative communications;
- Ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of internal business people;
- Must be a creative thinker, self-motivated, self-managed, and driven;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment;
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles, procedures and concepts;
- Must be able to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines;

The candidate must have experience with the following systems and software: PC systems; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CS3, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Acrobat.
