Raison d'être :
Ensure the efficiency of the Medium Voltage switching devices range (circuit-breaker, contactors, air switches,..) by continuously updating the offer and by providing to sales force clear and valuable information on the offer.
Working Relationships
Reports functionally to: MV Circuit-breaker & Contactor Product Manager
Report solid line to: MV Components director
Missions :
· Product Evolution management (PEP)
· Create the requirement file from data provided by customers (internal/external)
· Lead the priority list in front of the Board of Change
· Lead the product/process change (in close relationship with the factory and the continuous engineering)
· Up-date related tools and database (ordering process, promotion, prescription, training) and create specific tools if necessary
· Launch/communicate product information to internal customers using corporate tools
· Marketing support
· Collect data related to costs (CVD, CCV) and sales price for profitability analysis.
· Analyse sale figures (quantities, margin), identify weak and strong references, propose appropriate actions (withdrawal, push through promotion, ..)
· Create and up-date competition analysis files (description of product strengths and weaknesses compared to competition).
· Collect and share market data/information in order to develop collective knowledge (community of practice)
· Diffuse product knowledge through presentations and training modules.
· Technical support
· Find appropriate answer to technical questions
· Ensure the back-up of Help-desk specialist
Scope of responsibilities
· Management of ranges under his responsibility (ex. Circuit-breakers, contactors and air switches)
· Coordination of operational issues with peers (SM6, MCset and F400 switchgears offers) for a coherent WW marketing approach.
Tools
· Contribute to the workflow by entering data in following tools
· TEMPO: to enter new request for product evolution coming either from countries, from help-desk or from own initiative to improve the product.
· OCP Commercial Reference Creation: Launch creation of commercial references for catalogue references
· OSCAR: initiate OSCAR process and ensure the coordination with peers to get things done.
· SOCLE: Modify the decision tree and enter commercial references and Bill of material into SOCLE.
· Planet Product news: Communicate to countries new events and information
· EDMS: Communicate to countries new events and information
· PPS COLA: Communicate to country new launch or withdrawal
· VANTIVE: support helpdesk when needed
· Use following tool for consultation
· Symphony: TO make the link between commercial reference and technical references, as weel as to get the BOM of technical references
· Elonet: to check that presentation of the offer and the coherence with the ADD and the offer structure
· SAP: PR3 and RC2 modules: To get order intake statistics by reference, cost and pricing information per country.
