Background
The Studio Assistant will be the Administrative and Technical support for Studio CHAIT. They will have previous work experience and/or hands-on experience for Account Service within a sector such as Entertainment, Advertising, Marketing, PR. A background with a good understanding of the Entertainment Industry such as Film and/or TV Production, Music Production, Audio Engineering, Communications in addition to experience with Marketing/Promotions especially Chinese Social Media
will be highly regarded.

Job Description

The Studio Assistant will support the Studio Manager and on a day-today basis the Studio Assistant will:
? be the liaison with relevant departments within the company to take care of reimbursement, flight booking and other admin duties
? report on timelines and budgets, scheduling and implementation of studio commercial projects including Studio CHAIT Masterclasses
? set up Digital Music Workstation system in the studio including the setup of Studio Monitors, Midi Instruments, Audio Interfaces,
Recording facilities, etc.
? work as technical assistant to the composer, the work including but not limited to bounce and transfer the files in DMWs, Midi and audio editing, premixing, etc.
? maintain the Studio facilities including hardware and software;including review and resolve all technical Studio issues
? other technical work assigned by the Composer;
? be familiar with Chinese Social Media operation. Execute social media daily updates and campaigns in accordance to the studio social media strategy
? keep up-to-date and recommend new trends and major events in the relevant industries

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent.
Qualifications in either Music or Audio Production will be highly regarded.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

? 1-2 years Business, Marketing, Social Media in relevant Industry (Entertainment or Music Industry experience will be highly
regarded)
? Excellent Account Service/Management and organisational skills
? Experience with Studio techniques and Digital Music
Workstations including Midi and Audio production
? Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
? An Effective Team Player with strong people relationship skills
? Excellent presentation skills
? A Pro-active critical-thinker, analytical mind, motivated and
solution orientated a must!
? A flair for the Entertainment Industry
? A confident multi-tasker, detail-oriented a MUST!!! With the ability
to take initiatives and get things done sometimes independently
? Good computer office software working knowledge
