Role

The Schneider Electric Creative Solutions team is looking for a digital designer. As part of a strategic creative team, the digital designer will concept/prototype and design strategic digital solutions which embody our brand, excite out customers, tell our story, and sell our products services and solutions. The digital designer is vital in creating compelling, world-class creative solutions across an entire portfolio of cross-platform digital properties and devices including cutting-edge ad products, web applications, rich media advertising, responsive site experiences, and interactive applications. Responsibilities also include brainstorming ideas and ways to push new innovations/strategies to the marketing team.

Responsibilties

· Works closely with the Art Director, project managers, internal SMEs, and vendors to create impactful digital customer experiences

· Owns design and development of all projects from conceptual stage through production

· Creates responsive designs that work across various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and tablet

· Maintains the highest quality of design throughout all phases of the project

· Ensures that all creative is developed efficiently and with an eye towards innovation

· Quickly and efficiently builds prototypes, wireframes, and pitch collateral

· Participates, brainstorms, and consults constructively with an eye towards innovation and scalability

Qualifications

· A strong portfolio (online and functional) showcasing advertising, responsive web, and mobile digital projects

· Strong conceptual thinker – visual and interactive

· Expert-level experience in Adobe Creative Cloud suite

· 2+ years experience designing for cross-platform responsive digital experiences

· 2+ years of online advertising experience

· 2+ years of experience in rich media development

· 2+ years proven proficiency with HTML/5 and CSS/3

· Encompass knowledge of web tools, technologies and best practices, design development protocols, browser compatibility publishing software, user-experience design, quality assurance processes, online advertising models, search optimization and multimedia production

· Passion for emerging technologies and is engaged in staying abreast of new design/development trends

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Self motivated, enthusiastic and a collaborative spirit

· Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

· Bachelor’s Degree in graphic/interactive design, development or related field

· Agency, advertising, or digital/interactive experience a plus

· Working knowledge of Adobe Edge, After Effects and motion graphics a plus

· Experience with Axure or other rapid prototyping tool is a plus.
