Key Responsibilities:
SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT
· RELATE TRENDS TO SUPPLIER TO HELP CREATE STRONGER OFFER. SHOW SUPPLIERS BOUGHT SAMPLES AND WORK WITH THEM TO IMPROVE OFFER QUALITY 将流行趋势给供应商来帮助他们提供更符合我们要求的样品。展示供应商的买样并且讨论如何提高买样的品质
· CLEARLY COMMUNICATE WITH SUPPLIERS WHY THEIR OFFER SAMPLES/DEVELOPMENT SAMPLES HAVE NOT BEEN CHOSEN FOR FINAL COLLECTION. HELP THEM UNDERSTAND HOW TO IMPROVE THIS 仔细的和供应商讨论买样或者开发样为什么没有被选中,帮助他们理解如何去提高和改进
· TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE STYLES/CATEGORY - DISCUSS WITH DESIGNERS TO ENSURE THE CORRECT WEIGHT AND STYLES ARE DELIVERED FOR THE CORRECT SALES PERIODS 将自己的款式与设计师讨论---款式的风格是否符合正确的销售季节
· UNDERSTAND YOUR SUPPLIER'S CAPABILITIES AND ONLY GIVE THEM DEVELOPMENTS THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO EXECUTE WELL FOR PRODUCTION. BE PROACTIVE AND DOUBLE DEVELOP DIFFICULT STYLES AND PLANNED VOLUME STYLES TO ENSURE QUALITY AND PRICE ARE BOTH OPTIMISED了解供应商的能力,并且下给他们所擅长的订单。对一些困难的或者预计订单量大的款式要提前安排双开发已确保价格和品质都能达到理想的效果
FITS
· ENSURE ALL GARMENT FITS ARE CONDUCTED IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND ALL COMMENTS ARE WRITTEN DOWN AND RELAYED TO SUPPLIER IN GOOD TIME 样品及时试身,所有意见记录详细并及时发给供应商。
· WORKING WITH TECHNICIANS AND DESIGNERS TO IMPROVE ON ANY FIT ISSUES, GIVING THE SUPPLIER CLEAR GUIDELINES FROM THE 'SELECTED' TEAM. SENDING FIT MEETING MEMO UPDATES 同工艺师和设计师一同改进版型问题,给予供应商清晰的指示,及时发送版型会议备忘。
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
· ENSURE ALL PRODUCTION QUALITY AND PACKING PASSES WAREHOUSE QC FOR TEAM MEMBERS AS WELL AS YOURSELF确保大货品质以及包装问题通过质检,包括组员和自己的订单。
· DEVELOP STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF PRODUCTION LEADTIMES AND WORK TOWARDS BEING IN CONTROL OF SUPPLIER'S PRODUCTION PLANNING. BE FULLY PREPARED FOR PRODUCTION FOLLLOW-UPS AND RAISE ANY PROBLEMS IN A TIMELY MANNER全面了解产品生产周期并有效控制供应商大货排产时间以确保交期,定时过大货进度,并及时提出存在的问题。
· UNDERSTANDING YOUR SUPPLIERS CAPABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR DEVELOPMENTS AND PRODUCTION ARE OPTIMAL FOR THEIR PRODUCTION LEVEL了解供应商的生产周期以及优劣势,确保发给供应商开发和大货符合他们操作的范畴。
· REGULAR VISITS TO SUPPLIER FACTORIES TO REVIEW PRODUCTION, UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT WORKING LEVEL. PUT ACTION PLANS IN PLACE FOR EACH SUPPLIER, WITH DEADLINES, TO TRACK THEIR IMPROVEMENTS经常造访供应商/工厂巡视生产并了解进度和其他情况。针对供应商/工厂问题,做出有效计划帮助改善,对每项意见/改善都要有时间点并追踪督促完成。
CUSTOMER FEEDBACK & STORE VISITS
· REGULARLY VISIT OUR STORES (NOT ALWAYS THE SAME ONES) TO REVIEW THE COLLECTION AND GET STORE/CUSTOMER FEEDBACK ON THE COLLECTION BASED AROUND PRICE, QUALITY, WORKMANSHIP AND FIT. CREATE A 'QUALITY' STORE REPORT THAT CAN BE USED TO CREATE ACTION PLANS FROM.有规律计划的去转不同的店铺,取得不同的店铺及顾客反馈,在价格,质量版型做工等意见,做报告并且给出改善行动方案,在月会议中呈现
· RELAY SELECTED STORE VISIT REPORTS TO SUPPLIERS, HELPING THEM UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT NEEDS IMPROVING. WORKING CLOSELY WITH SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE THIS HAPPENS 分享部分转店报告给供应商,帮助供应商理解销售好与不好的产品的原因
· PRODUCE REGULAR COMPETITOR ANALYSIS REPORTS FOCUSING ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE PRODUCT. PREPARE SHOP REPORTS OF YOUR FINDINGS WITH KEY ACTION POINTS INCLUDED 有规律及计划去竞争品牌店巡店并总结报告形式,给出相应的可以改善自身品类的行动方案
COST PRICE NEGOTIATIONS
· REGULARLY VISIT OUR STORES (NOT ALWAYS THE SAME ONES) TO REVIEW THE COLLECTION AND GET STORE/CUSTOMER FEEDBACK ON THE COLLECTION BASED AROUND PRICE, QUALITY, WORKMANSHIP AND FIT. CREATE A 'QUALITY' STORE REPORT THAT CAN BE USED TO CREATE ACTION PLANS FROM.定期去转店调研店铺货品状况,了解消费者的诉求(包括价格,品质,做工,版型),完成高质量的报告用以指导后续的产品计划。
· RELAY SELECTED STORE VISIT REPORTS TO SUPPLIERS, HELPING THEM UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT NEEDS IMPROVING. WORKING CLOSELY WITH SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE THIS HAPPENS把转店报告转达给供应商,以便供应商了解我们的需求和供应商需要改进的地方
· PRODUCE REGULAR COMPETITOR ANALYSIS REPORTS FOCUSING ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE PRODUCT. PREPARE SHOP REPORTS OF YOUR FINDINGS WITH KEY ACTION POINTS INCLUDED了解竞争对手的产品以及表现,提提供相关的报告
· BE PROACTIVE AND DOUBLE DEVELOP STYLES THAT HAVE PRICE ISSUE TO INCREASE COMPETITION BETWEEN SUPPLIERS TO ACHIEVE COST TARGETS.及时发现成本问题,并向团队领导反馈,同时提供解决方案。
· EACH DROP, USE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MARKET, COMPETITORS AND SELECTED SELLING TO REVIEW IF WE HAVE A 'CLEAR AND FAIR' RETAIL PRICING STRUCTURE 每产品季,结合市场情况,竞争品牌情况和SELECTED销售情况制定合理的零售价。
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY & PROBLEM SOLVING
· USE CREATIVE THINKING TO OFFER SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS THAT ARISE, NOT JUST COMING WITH A PROBLEM. SPEAK TO OTHER STAFF MEMBERS, MAKE PHONE CALLS TO SOLVE ISSUES. DO NOT JUST EMAIL AND WAIT FOR A REPLY.发挥主观能动去解决问题,与其他的成员去分享信息
· WORKING TO HELP OTHER TEAM MEMBERS SOLVE PRODUCTION/SUPPLIER ISSUES. USING BEST PRACTICE EXAMPLES TO DO THIS. WORKING TOWARDS SHARED GOALS帮助其他的成员去解决产品以及供应商的事宜
· TAKING CLEAR NOTES DURING ALL MEETINGS AND PROACTIVELY FOLLOWING UP ON ACTIONS. GOOD TIMEKEEPING AND TIME MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE DEADLINES ARE MET有清晰的会议记录,有很好的时间把控力
UNDERSTANDING OF SALES
· REVIEW WEEKLY BEST AND WORST SELLERS, AND USE THIS INFORMATION TO DISCUSS WHETHER WE SHOULD MAKE CHANGES TO THE CURRENT PRODUCTION I.E. COLOUR CHANGE, SHAPE CHANGE ETC. HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF ALL GOOD SELLING/BAD SELLING STYLES TO DO THIS, NOT JUST YOUR OWN 每周定期查看销售的***款和最差款,并参考这些信息看是否需要对当前的大货做出更改(如变更颜色,款型或其他)不要只关心自己的款式, 而是所有好的和不好的款式
· SHARE BEST SELLING STYLES WITH SUPPLIERS AND ASK THEM TO CREATE UPDATE STYLES FOR NEW COLLECTION. 与供应商分享销售好的款式,并且供应商可以提供更适合品牌需求的款式
SYSTEMS AWARENESS
· 1) HAVE STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF THE PLM SYSTEM AND USE IT EFFICIENTLY AT ALL TIMES. PUSH ALL SUPPLIERS TO WORK IN THE PLM SYSTEM SO WE CAN SEE OPEN COSTING FOR ALL CATEGORIES POSSIBLE.很强的利用PLM系统意识,保持使用且督促海外供应商应该利用系统填写它们的成本构成,以便所有品类都是在系统里有成本横向控制
· DEVELOP STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF THE LOGISTICS, PAYMENT AND SHIPMENT PROCESS. USE THIS KNOWLEDGE TO IDENTIFY PROBLEM AREAS IN WORKFLOW (I.E. PENALTY FEE FOR STOCK HELD AT PORT, WH LOW PASS RATE) AND WORK WITH YOUR TEAM LEADER AND ASSISTANT BUYING MANAGER TO ASSESS HOW TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS 加强所有跟物流船运运输及付款等在订单操作中的这些相关重要的环节,利用这些知识来管理海外供应商,建立很好的奖惩意识,(如库房低质量通过率及晚交期造成大库存等) 都要跟买手经理及组长沟通进行此方面工作
· COMMUNICATE REGULARLY AND PROACTIVELY WITH ALL OTHER TEAMS (OTHER BUYING TEAMS, DESIGNERS, RETAIL TEAM)TO CREATE A 'ONE' TEAM FEELING, AND TO OPTIMISE THE WORKING WAY 按时主动与其他买手及设计联系建立团队氛围,并提高工作效率。
· ENSURE TIMELY COMMUNICATE WITH LOGISTIC AND WAREHOUSE CLOSELY FOR BULK INBOUND CORRECTLY 按时与物流团队沟通使大货能顺利正确进仓
Requirements:
1. University graduate (preferable in international trade &Textile industry)
2. Above 8 years' experiences with garments company
3. Good English and computer skills
4. Good communicating skills, capable of negotiating with suppliers
5. Strong fashion mind, able to work independently
6. Team player, responsible attitude towards work
