职位描述：

Smart Space Application Engineer

Location: Shenzhen

This position is accountable forproviding technology, architecture, & systems competence support to the SmartSpace China and East Asia Zones. Including strengthening Country Front Offices awareness & expertiseof our Systems offers, specifications, features & the solutions they bringto projects, (existing & new offers).

Work includes:

-       Proactively develop the KNX / SmartSpace systemsnetwork & build the community with Front Offices, sharing best practices,webinars, tools & documentation

-       Supporting Country FO projects on their prescription and tenderingin order to win projects

-       Train and provide technical & commercial support to sales& opportunity leaders

-       Give efficient / reliable and fast reply to inquiries

-       Contribute to launch of new solutions

-       Influences and lobbies a segment community of key contacts infront offices that will help achieve objectives

-       Provide monthly reporting on opportunities, key initiatives& escalations.

Environment and Requirement

-       Daily relationship with:

• Business managers / technical leadersfrom front offices and Application Centers

• Design office, Execution team…

• Business unit / LoB (R&D,Marketing, Country support / Commercial)

• GAM, KAM, ….
  

-       Frequent connection with customers: End users / Specifiers / Contractors

-       Interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectivelywith internal and external customers of various technical abilities, includingexperience working with contractors, consultants, and sales staff,

-       Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in afast paced deadline driven environment

-       Ability to self-manage, multi-task and learn new skills quickly,

-       Ability to travel up to 25% to various Customers sites,Schneider Electric offices and Partners mainly in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan,with occasional travels to other regions,

-       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and DetailOriented.

Qualifications

- UniversityDegree in Electrical / ElectronicEngineering or Equivalent

- Language: English, Chinese, others as assets

 

Experience:

-       A minimum of 5+ years of relevant technical, product, project experiencein Light & Room Control Systems,& specifically in KNX and or C-Bus.

-       Experience in laying out KNX/C-Bus architecture, topologies, andhardware,

-       Knowledge of contract documents and ability to clearlyunderstand specifications,

-       Problem Solving and Troubleshooting.
