Responsibilities:

1. Create models and layouts

2. Create drawings, applying the appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances as required

3. Understands design, function and manufacturing of drivetrain components

4. Provide self check prints and backup work for projects

5. Communicate with the Design teams and the Engineers on projects

6. Participate on various Engineering and quality teams.

7. Other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2-year degree in Engineering or related field, or working towards a BSME or BSMET

2. Proficient on Unigraphics NX (2D Drafting, 3D Modeling, and Assembly); Catia V5 experience a plus

3. Self-motivated individual, capable of performing duties with limited supervision while conforming to tight work completion deadlines.

4. Must have good communication skills

5. Ability to work in a team environment with various internal customers and department members.

6. Must be willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends when required.

7. Must have strong demonstrated problem solving skills.

8. Must posses a good mechanical aptitude.

9. Understanding of casting and forging fundamentals a plus.

10. Understanding of machining processes a plus.

11. Position located in Maumee, OH.
