*Brief Posting Description (Position Summary – paragraph form)
Work with suppliers in pursuit of improving supplier performance across a variety parameters including but not limited to process capability, technology deployment, cost, responsiveness, and value chain. This position will utilize the necessary training, process, performance metrics, and communication plan to effectively address the supplier needs across the organization. Responsibilities include a development plan, implementing supplier development programs and pipeline cost reduction projects, developing KPI’s, and supporting new product development/new component sourcing with supplier selection and PPAPs by working closely with Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing . An individual with the appropriate technical, manufacturing and supplier experience would be best qualified for the position.

? Develops and administers project identification, development and management
? Manages the strategic focus including managing project efforts, budgetary considerations, milestone deliverables, on-time delivery, and project management best practices.
? Works with sourcing leaders to develop appropriate measurements and KPI's for incorporating anticipated deliverables.
? Manages reporting, query, analysis, and forecasting of all data and metrics.
? Ensures effective integration of ES and Sustainability within high level organizational strategic processes.
? Enhances the cross functional partnership (via communication) with the GBU and Sourcing teams to support the achievement of KPI’s.
? Recommends adjustments and controls to ensure that change is sustained, goals are attained, and consistent excellence in delivery.
? Supports the development of communication materials which convey the performance of the Supplier Development organization to management, suppliers and associates.
? Provides strategic project development/direction for Supplier Development activities in support of Operational objectives.
*Job Requirements (Minimum: Required Skills and Competencies, Education Level / Major Required, Years of Experience, Certifications / Licenses, etc…)
? Technical degree – process or manufacturing engineering
? MBA – not required but preferred
? 5 - 10 years experience in process/manufacturing improvement
? 3 - 5 years experience supplier improvement programs preferred
? Familiarity and practice with lean manufacturing and value stream mapping
? Familiarity and practice with six sigma concepts & DMAIC problem solving
? Established statistical modeling capabilities
? Excellent collaboration & project management skills
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills
*Additional Details (% of travel required / domestic and/or international, computer language skills, necessary soft skills, etc…)
? Travel – can be up to 30% to 50% depending on demands
? Language – Fluent English and Chinese
? Computer Skills – proficient in MS Office, Statistical s/w such as Minitab

? Must be a team player and able to build strong relationships internally and externally
? Must have strong emotional intelligence and work through challenging assignments
? Must be organized and metric driven
