Position Summary:
Achieve sourcing goals within the commodities assigned. Identify and develop suppliers within assign commodities to support operational needs and build strong supply base for business growth.
Responsibilities:
· Meet goals of cost reduction, supply chain improvement in commodity area.
· Work closely with planning and SQE to improve supply chain and receive escalations on issues.
· Negotiations with key suppliers.
· Identify sources to support business growth in new component sourcing, new product development sourcing and line move sourcing.
· Work with global commodity team for multi-site commodity tasks and projects.
· Develop supply base across the commodity to meet current and future needs. Identify and introduce new sources as needed.
Requirements:
· University degree, majoring in Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years purchasing experience with above 2 year in molding area sourcing.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Good command of windows office especially Excel, PowerPoint.
· Good oral and written English skills
