The technician will provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Located in Baoying, Yangzhou, China
Skills and Educational requirements:
1. College degree in technical field, Mechanical background is preferred.
2. Able to compose report in English
3. Good at operational ability, previous experience in process or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
4. Able to communicate effectively with all functional groups (Mfg, Design etc.)
5. Skilled in office Suits (PPT, Excel, Word)
6. Must have working knowledge of basic statistics (mean, sigma, Cp, Cpk, etc.). Capable of data analysis with Minitab
7. CAD software (CAD/ ProE/ Solidworks etc.) is a plus but not necessary
Most important tasks and responsibilities:
8. Support process development, conduct tooling debug and assist new equipment debug.
9. Conduct designed experiments to understand process variables, perform primary data analysis
10. Technical writing and capturing experimental results and analysis for future references
11. Build B and C level samples
12. Create process documentation including work instructions, visual aids and route sheets for sample build. Document lessons learned for transfer to production process
13. Assist equipment installation, set up and qualification in make site.
14. Make recommendations to improve manufacture of new and existing products
15. Assist on advanced quality planning (APQP) documentation as needed
16. Support the milestones of the NPD process as for transfer to the make sites
17. Lead C-list NPD independently, potential to lead B-list NPD with limited guidance
Additional requirements:
1. Must be able to balance multiple priorities and receive direction from multiple engineers as required.
2. Must take initiative to search out assignments when not fully loaded.
3. Problem solving skills including the ability to diagnose root cause of equipment and process problems.
4. The ability to perform device failure analysis if needed.
