RESPONSIBILITIES

·Perform supplier audit according to annual yearly audit plan and follow up corrective actions

·Work with supplier for incoming quality problems and in process quality problems relevant with supplier, get problems resolved timely and push supplier to take corrective actions ;Verify Supplier's corrective action's effectiveness & promptness timely

·Assist in development of new suppliers through participation in Supplier Systems Assessments (SSA) follow up supplier new samples trial run ,process, review and recommend approval or rejection for supplier PPAP Submissions.

·Monitor and report supplier performance on a weekly and monthly basis and help supplier on continuous improvement.

·Deal with in process quality problem timely and effectively.

·Work with manufacturing team and production team for scrap rate reduction and continuous improvement

·Monitor and report internal scrap rate and trend on a weekly and monthly basis

·Other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

·Bachelor's Degree, major in mechanics or relevant ,Minimum of 3 years experience in supplier management and in process quality control

·Be familiar with TS16949 and AIAG core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA,SPC, MSA, etc.

·Be familiar with VDA6.3 process audit and VSA6.5 product audit

·Direct metal product (stamping, Machining, cold forming, annealing of Aluminum material, chemical cleaning, coating) manufacturing experience.

·Experience in conducting capacity analysis. Ford/GM Run @ Rate preferred.

·Understand Quality Engineering tools, mistake-proofing etc.

·Excellent organizational & communication skills with the ability to work in a Team environment

·Good written and verbal skills in English.

·Must be able to travel, mainly domestically.
