IT Analyst(Lotus Programming)_CXL_Xuzhou_120001DR

Responsibilities:

As an IT Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills, assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Caterpillar success.

Further, you contribute real value by developing, integrating, and/or supporting in-house and purchased applications or infrastructure solutions in order to solve business problems.

Other duties may include but are not necessarily limited to:

• Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions;
• Works independently on complex programs/subroutines;
• Fully qualified to perform most programming assignments without close supervision;
• Knowledgeable of current operating environment, programming languages, program design and specification development, programming logic, logic diagrams, testing, debugging and documentation;
• Under the direction of more senior staff, assists in the development of major system modules and programs based on requirements gathered from system customers;
• Follows and/or improves established development and support processes
• Performs integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software and hardware solutions;
• Designs and implement processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support;
• Other tasks and activities as directed.

Required Qualifications:

• Computer-related University Degree or Certification, and/or equivalent experience;
• 3 to 5 years experience in application development;
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes programming and MS.Net programming is required;
• Knowledge of MS.Net programming and Web publishing will be added advantage;
• Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
• Ability to work independently; conscientious and efficient;
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English;
• Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware & software and current development processes and tools.
