Job description
?During the project phase:
1. Integration of new software solutions into existing technical customer environments
2. System installation- and configuration
3. Handling of change requests
4. Testing and validation
5. Problem analysis und elimination of errors
6. Customer trainings
7. Supporting customer staff in pilot phases and while ramping up the production
?During the maintenance phase additionally:
1. Ongoing remote or onsite production support
2. Follow up on IT incidents
3. Shift support
4. Reconfiguration and modification
5. Software updates
Mission
Develop and optimize the software knowledge and technical competency for the service team while provide technical support as a technical expertise.
To maximize the customer satisfaction on service quality and capability with providing professional field service and professional consultancy while promote service products to generate service NIS.
Experience requirements
?Server and workstation administration on Windows and UNIX, preferably including cluster technologies.
?Installation and troubleshooting of hardware platforms
?Network technology and data communications
?ORACLE and Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration
?Webserver installation, management and troubleshooting: Apache, IIS …
?Good command of spoken and written English is mandatory, other local languages are a “plus”
?Basic knowledge in industrial automation, fieldbus technique and PLC programming are desirable
?Experience with software programming and scripting languages are of advantage
Knowledge
?Computer technician or scientist, system administrator or alternatively an electrician or similar with a profound professional experience in the IT area
Personality requirements
?Used to work responsible and self-contained
?Capability of dealing with complex multitask situations under pressure
?Proactive, dynamic and enthusiastic
?Customer focused
?Good interpersonal and solid organizational skills
?Capability of adapting to flexible schedules
?Willing to travel frequently
