Recruitment areas to continuously monitor and improve the process in order to minimize risk to the company and provide efficient and effective service to customer facilities.

Manage the process from beginning to end to facilitate the filling of internal and external job openings within Country. Ensure the team is following standard work to maximize efficiency and minimize risk to the company related to hiring practices. This includes coaching hiring managers through the process and making recommendations on the most effective way to fill their job opening. Recruiters may engage search firms and headhunters, advertise job openings in trade publications, newspapers or on websites to find suitable candidates. Ensure the process requirements to screen applicants, administer any assessments, conduct targeted selection interviews, facilitate drug screen and back ground checks (as appropriate), make job offers to candidates and schedule and conduct new hire orientations are fulfilled.

Manage job-opening process for agency, part time and/or temporary Caterpillar positions. Must ensure the recruiting team create job openings in appropriate systems and advise hiring managers of the appropriate hiring process and options for filling their job opening.

Manage the collection, processing and storage of all documents related to hiring new employees, or filling internal job openings. All legally required work authorization documents are collected, processed and placed in employees history folders. An orientation session is conducted each week to facilitate the completion of legally required employment tasks, and inform new employees of company rules, policies and expectations. Information regarding employee benefit plans and enrollment procedures is also delivered.

All hiring activities must be in compliance with applicable company policies as well as local and federal laws and guidelines.

Responsible for managing compliance issues to ensure the right to work.

Assign work to ensure proper workload to streamline and accelerate the process. This position is responsible for identifying the need for projects and initiating the discussion with appropriate managers to assemble a team to execute the project. A team leader from the group is assigned by the manager.

This position works closely with Business Unit HR to manage major annual recruiting events such as direct campus hiring, intern hiring and program management and other special hiring initiatives.

Responsible for management of student programs such as outreach programs arranged with high schools, technical schools and junior colleges.

The team managed by this position is responsible for owning and maintaining process documentation for hiring process used in Country, and working with process owners to continuously improving the process. This position is expected to lead the governance team responsible for controlling all process documentation and coordination with process owners on process changes.

Responsible for managing the performance, development and engagement of team members.

Responsible for relationship management with key customers such as hiring managers, corporate process owners, functional succession planning group managers, vendor contacts and HR Managers.

Moderate travel is required. (10-20%)

A college or University degree is typically required, with 5-9 years of HR or related experience. More than 5 years of relevant experience with commendable performance is also acceptable
