Caterpillar’s Section Manager position leads teams and supervises people in manufacturing sections to maximize efficiency in quality, velocity and cost.


Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes;
监督及改进生产区域的安全，主动消除安全隐患
* Assures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules;
确保整个工具工装及流程能满足生产计划要求。
* Determines priorities and sequences jobs;
合理安排工作
*Support and improve painting shop (kaizen, quality system…)
主持及改进喷涂线
*Make the painting and finial assembly plan for the prototype and implement it 执行喷涂和装配标准作业
*In order to advance the quality of production and cut down cost. Train the operators; let them know why it happened and how to avoid it.负责生产和降低成本教导员工明白如何避免。
*Build and share knowledge and experience internally and externally in order to leverage expertise and performance level of the team and the broader organization.分享经验和成果，在团体中提高树立信誉。
*Ensure a good communication and co-operation with and between the Team members, other teams and the relevant support functions.
确保团队成员之间、本团队与其他团队及相关支持部门间的良好沟通和合作。

Required Qualifications:

* ABET accredited Engineering or Engineering Technology degree (or equivalent);
* Previous experience in equipment diagnostics, systems integration and maintenance coordination; and
* Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.


Desired Qualifications:


*above 2 years of experience as manager or supervisor level in a production environment.2年以上作为经理或者生产主管职务经验。

*Strong believer in standardized work and Lean production principles.强烈信任标准化工作和精益生产原则。
* Good knowledge of MS windows and MS office applications. 良好的办公软件操作系统的知识和技能。
*Good oral/written English.良好的口头和书面英文技能。
