Responsibility:
As a Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to provide technical expertise and lead a team
in the development of major manufacturing projects within the facility, working with internal/external suppliers to support/
improve manufacturing productivity and cost effectiveness.
You will manage the planning and delivery of projects, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology, mentor
and coach enterprise team members, and deepen your professional network. You will also develop and implement
strategy to contribute to the company’s long-term leadership position.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Lead & maintain long-term strategy plans and objectives, layout, & logistic plan through project management discipline.
* Develop operation metrics and procedures in a continuous effort to manage costs and efficiencies and drive
improvement in proper areas.
* Drive CPS/Lean Manufacturing initiatives into value stream for continuous PQVC improvement.
* Provide leadership in the implementation of integrated mfg information systems within the facility to drive continuous
operation excellence.
* Coordinate all NPI activities within facility to meet committed target and execute CAPEX to plan.
* Serve as liaison and promote regular dialog with global customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
as needed to solve problems and define/improve manufacturing processes, quality and/or reduce costs.
* Support new mfg technology implementation & development, the continuous capability of machines / equipment and
process improvement.
* Lead the long-term plan for operations capacity utilization to meet customer demand.
* Participate and lead management to plan major initiatives, objectives and direction for the facility that could significantly
impact strategies and business results.


Required Qualifications:
* 10 or more years of progressively responsible job-related experience in the various manufacturing disciplines gained
through previous staff and/ or supervisory assignments.
* College degree in an appropriate engineering or technical discipline combined with a minimum of 2 years of appropriate
manufacturing experience as either a Manufacturing Project Engineer or Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.
* Able and have leadership skills to work with people from many different backgrounds, cultures and levels within the
organization.
* Good interpersonal skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the
business unit.
* Strong analytical skills with proven team leadership skills.
* Experience and strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Project Management.
* Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Including reading and writing in English.
Desired Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of the Caterpillar organization, products, policies, and procedures.
* Thorough knowledge of company products/applications.
* International experience and contacts within Caterpillar global organization.
* Prior 6 Sigma Black Belt experience.
