JOB PURPOSE:
To lead 4 to 6 advance planning and project engineers to perform capacity planning, capital planning, new technical introduction, quality transformation and new products introduction.

JOB DUTIES:
This is engineering management position to lead engineering planning team and NPI team to perform plant general planning and new products introduction.

Principle activities include:

1. Leading advance planning engineers perform ECCP analysis, develop and update manufacturing frame, perform capacity planning and capital planning basing on ECCP demands forecast, regularly organize capacity review basing on updated S&OP and monitor capital spending basing on annual capital plan;

2. Leading advance planning engineers and process engineers perform installed capacity prove out, providing direction and guidance to take action to eliminate the gap between actual capacity and design capacity;

3. Leading advance planning engineers introduce new technique to current manufacturing process, optimize manufacturing footprints & process to improve manufacturing productivity and cost effectiveness;

4. Leading advance planning engineers coordinate plant level work instruction development and improvement, and coordinate plant level quality transformation to drive internal process control;

5. Leading NPI execution in OSF operation, coordinate the feasibility and cost analysis for NPI project and provide the proposal basing on OSF manufacturing frame, improve NPI process to reduce the lead time and the cost continuously.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

1. Requires abundant knowledge and experience of new products introduction, quality management, capacity & capital planning.
2. A college degree or its equivalent is required for this position.
3. Prior experience in both NPI project management and quality management is desirable.
4. Recommend 5 years of supervisory experience.
5. Good communication skill in both Chinese and English.
6. Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
