As a Product Change Control Supervisor at Caterpillar, you will supervise the coordination of all facilities, systems and departments involved in the introduction of Engineering releases and changes to assure cost effective and timely introductions.
Duties will likely include:

Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Directs and controls the efforts and priorities of Product Change Control (PCC) employees
* Effective management of manufacturing change information, timely receipt and completeness of records required in the change implementation process, accurate timely distribution and maintenance of engineering data, and effective change implementation based on plan.
* Oversee and coordinate priorities within each team and the efforts of the team.
* Responsibility for expense budgets, capital forecasts and expenditures, and all personnel issues in the area including performance evaluations of subordinates.
* Coordinates introduction of new product and engineering changes and provides the tools to monitor the overall progress and effectiveness of product programs
* Serve as an integral member of NPI teams to influence the timeliness of model effectivity and the impact on other programs.

Required Qualifications:

* Technical college or university degree in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering related field.
* 4-6 years relevant manufacturing experience.
* Requires good oral and written communications skills.
* Requires in-depth knowledge of Engineering drawings & notices; Engineering data notice system; notification system; MCS; Engineering & Manufacturing change control.
* Must be familiar with Manufacturing Engineering processes and systems and Materials Requirement Planning systems.
