职位描述
To perform entry level accounting functions that support the finance department in compliance with Caterpillar business resource practices with a particular focus on tax transactions for the Caterpillar China entities.
The individual will be expected to be a contributing performer, performing accounting work that supports business processes including VAT data entry, voucher preparation, other data entry. The individual will report to the accounting supervisor. The accuracy of reporting is critical to ensure proper China statements, compliance with the regulatory requirements and local GAAP audit requirements. The accountant identifies relevant data and data sources, gathers and analyzes the information, and provides feedback. Work will generally be directed by a supervisor, but this position does not require close supervision to be effective. Additionally, this position will:
- gain an understanding of Caterpillar’s business and accounting practices, systems and procedures;
- learn and develop skills which result from the practical application of basic accounting knowledge, and
- provide assistance to a project team or others in the work group.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of voucher documentation
Preparation reports
Preparation of journal entries
Preparation of bank reconciliations and other reconciliations
Preparation of inventory reports
Preparation of certain general ledger entries and monthly closing documentation
Accountants will continuously learn through training and experience. Learning at this level will focus on methods, processes and systems applied to accounting, developing communications skills and building knowledge of Caterpillar’s businesses, products, suppliers and customers.
Required Qualifications:
*A university degree in accounting or finance
*Good knowledge of English
*Must be able to work with various MS Office-applications

*Experience in tax reporting
