职位描述：
Main responsibilities
R&D projects:
1、Carryout Product Concept according to product development definition, (re-use of existing bricks / new development…)
2、On time delivery of Technical solution, make sure design can be meet product specification and pass review (assembly drawing, 3d drawing, 2d drawing)
3、On time delivery of R&D prototype testing / evaluation completed and relevant documented
4、Details of final solution (specification –BOMs and drawings ready for FA samples)
5、Analysis of solution - Tolerance analysis, mold analysis
6、Product FMEA
7、Design to cost

Quality:
1、Support to do routine IQC income component approval
2、Lead and make sure of root cause analysis through 8D methodology for the quality issues of internal & external which linked to design (mass production quality issues and customer complain quality issues) to archive 3D/5D/8D target.

Technical Request:
1、Make sure all the TR projects & Customization Request (3 months & 3 weeks) on time delivery.

Productivity：
1、Support leader to carryout cost down ideas
2、Aaccording to project time frame, on time delivery relevant design

Main activities:

1、Provide technical expertise on designing one new products or one common part of all products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products.
2、Under direct supervision, assists with designing new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products.
3、Responsible for prototype assembly and testing, design test jigs for prototype and component test and technology problem-shooting if any.
4、Able to conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturability, and reliable.
5、Communicates with the local engineering personnel to co-ordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.
6、In charge of Motor, gear-box, LSU structure and drawing design, lead standard engineer to create BOM and support packaging design as well.
7、Able to independently finish the assignment by superior

Main KPI：
1.On Time Delivery of mechanical design for R&D projects & productivity projects: 85~90% archived.
2.Productivity Cost down idea Target: 1-2 idea /year
3.8D: archiving 3D/5D standard lead time defined by the company goal


Required qualifications and/or experience :
MUST To Have：
1、Experience with Pro-Engineer / Solid Works CAD software is required.
2、Have technology background or basic knowledge in electrical motor industry as well as planet gear gearbox.

PREFER To Have：
1、Understanding manufacturing processes well and troubleshoot capability (sheet metal fabrication, machining, casting, extrusion, finishing, etc.) , tolerance stack up analysis capability is needed.
2、Be able to communicate in English by written and spoken.

Other characteristics or qualities required :
MUST To Have：
1、Minimum Qualifications: University degree in science and technology in mechanical or automation.

PREFER To Have：
1、Having working experience in tubular motor or power tools industry will be highly preferred.
2、Having experience of DTC (design to cost) and DFMEA, cost down design will be highly preferred.
3、Positive working attitude with good initiative, team work spirit.
Minimum Qualifications: University degree in science and technology in mechanical or automation.
