Job Description:

* Work together and report directly to the Sr. QA working under the Softline office Manager
* Collaborate with head office to develop, implement and follow up the sourcing strategic plan for Asian Sourcing Office.
* Source new factories and products in Asia
* Coordinate with the Quality Controller within his/her area
* Visit suppliers regularly to solve / prevent production problem and maintain the positive relationship.
* Develop working procedures
* Make sure quality standards reached
* Review and approve samples to ensure that they meet product specifications such as style, construction, workmanship, quality, and fitting measurement in order to present detailed sample reviews.
* Monitor process and approve sample specifications and quality
* Identify and resolve potential safety standard issues such as construction and colorization.
* Discuss comments and improvement areas with headquarters, factories and merchandisers.
* Provide technical advice, guidance, support and control to factories, headquarters, Merchandising staff and technical team members on materials, fitting, specifications and construction
* Explain brand requirements, key points and comments to factories, including updates to styling and or branding elements.
* Identify and resolve potential issues of samples
* Discuss alternatives with factories based on Merchandiser comments
* Provide technical advice and suggestions to factories to improve their performance and capability
* Discuss work progress and issues / difficulties encountered with merchandisers


Requirements

* University Bachelor degree in textile or garment technology
* Have 1+ years of actual working experiences in garment, textile or related to orders follow up within foreign trading company or buying office.
* Advanced knowledge of fabric, workmanship and garment production process, apparel technology, quality standards and compliance.
* Experience in quality controlling.
* Familiarized with textile export requirements and standard of American market
* Cooperative mentality; A team player who can give full effort to meet company´s technique and standards.
* Open mind, organized, positive attitude and good communication, supervisory ability, goal oriented.
* Fluent in oral and written English & Chinese
* Excellent personal presentation
* Proactive, energetic, results oriented, committed, and highly motivated.
* High sense of responsibility, organization and deadline completion, with capability to work independently.
* Computer knowledge (Windows, MS office, Google, Adobe, - Gerber or other pattern software admissible)
* Schedule flexibility
* International travel availability
