1. Lead Continuous Improvement projects across the Global Finance organization to reduce the cost of Accounting, Decision Support, and Compliance & Risk Management to below average as measured against independent benchmarking. This will contribute to making Air Products Finance a World Class Organization. Key responsibilities include:
? Map, measure, and identify improvement opportunities
? Work with functional management to establish improvement projects and assemble teams
? Lead improvement teams in the process from issue definition - to solution development -through to implementation - including all aspects of change management to assure success
? Provide CI leadership to ingrain the Five S's into Finance work processes/practices:
? Simplicity
? Standardization of accounting / reporting
? Sharing Best Practices
? Shortening cycle times
? Service to customer requirements

2. Liaison with Business, Operations and the Support Process teams for development and implementation of complementary Continuous Improvement Projects
3. Provide functional / CI tool expertise & leadership to promote the Continuous Improvement Culture within Finance.
4. Provide tools, training, and practices to optimize total efficiency and value delivery in accordance with corporate & functional objectives
5. Establish CI performance measures to ensure continued process effectiveness and efficiency.
