Position: Senior Cost Estimator
1. Location: Nanjing
2. Department: Procurement Department
3. Report to: Department Manager


4. Requirements:
4.1 Bachelor degree or above, with major or working experiences in engineering;
4.2 Minimum 10 years working experience with cost estimation, better with civil, mechanical or electrical background ;
4.3 Lead the team to execute the cost estimation for chemical or industrial project;
4.4 Good knowledge of local market price for equipment, material and labor cost;
4.5 High sense of responsibility, good teamwork spirit, ability to work independently, and sense of confidentiality;
4.6 Good command at English, with speaking and writing;
4.7 Experience of cost control or quantity surveyor at site is a plus.
4.8 Willing to travel


5. Responsibilities (but not limited to):
5.1 Budget and cost estimation;
To estimate the investment costs and prepare budgets and estimates, as directed by the manager or internal and external clients, based on the technical information provided by engineers, in order to gain an understanding of the total project costs.
5.2 Review and check;
To review and comment the cost estimations prepared by others.
5.3 Reporting;
To report the budgets and estimates prepared, in consultation with the manager or the client, taking account of the requirements and interests of the various parties involved, in order to be able to provide all parties involved with itemized budgets at any time.
5.4 Market Analyze;
To maintain, gather and analyze changes in market prices and developments of work tools, within the framework of the technical domain, in order to preserve the optimum level of knowledge and estimate the costs of future projects.
5.5 Cost Control;
To evaluate the progress payment and change order request of construction contractor during project execution stage, control and report the project cost based on project target cost.
5.6 Training;
To provide training and mentoring to the young cost engineers/estimators.
