职位表述和要求：

Nature of role for PPO project engineers would cover various stages in project execution/ management, starting from developing/clarifying project scope and schedule, design and specifications, budgeting, sourcing, quotation, procurement, construction and site supervision, design hazard review, commissioning, handover and warranty, etc. Customers of plant project organization would cover LASU, Generated gas, Industrial/Tonnage Gas, Hydrogen plant, PMD, Electronic Material, Gas and Energy, etc. Scopes of plant project would include reliability project in retrofit and expansion on current APCC or acquired plant process assets, or for plant safety improvement purposes.

Within the first one to two years services of the said engineer who would be located in TJ office, supporting East/North China plant projects. After that period, by PPO management decisions or per APCC corporate needs, this said engineer would voluntarily relocate to Xi’An working in APCC Xi’An city office, to better support/serve APCC West China plants projects. APCC welcome candidates who are willing to relocate Xi’An in future.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

·Owner project follow up for requisition identification/scope clarification/detail implementation etc.

·Specifying and selecting materials (e.g. piping, mechanical valve, etc.)

·Detailed design of piping system

·Specifying and selecting mechanical equipment.

·To organize project engineering follow up

·Development of construction packages and ensuring construction organized in compliance with APCI EH&S standards

·Participating in Hazards reviews

·Development of detail project cost and schedule

·Negotiate, resolve differences and direct work of detail designers and construction personnel

·Trouble shooting and start up support

·Understanding of the requirements of APCI standards, specifications, local building codes.

·Readily applies basic engineering principals to solve project design problems.

·Competency in personal computer skills including MS word, MS Excel, Access, MS Project and Outlook

·A generalist in most engineering disciplines.

·Report to management on project status and costs and issues.

·Any other duties deemed necessary by direct supervisor.

· Resourceful – draw on other parts of the organization for specialist support, as appropriate

· Manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects experience

· Role model within Project Engineering function:

· High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements

· Organizational credibility - able to distinguish between needs and desires of business area, engineering and manufacturing managers in decision making process

· Basic understanding of the process technologies employed in PPO & PST operations
