Job overview:
The main purpose of this job is to support R&D (including TCS) to convert technology improvements into intangible property of which the most important type is patent. Henkel set up its AP R&D center at Shanghai in 2007 and in recent years it grows quickly which now employs more than 200 chemists. AR has 10 technical platforms and PD supports various SBUs including AG, AE, AI, AT, AC. Besides, Henkel also has a PD group for UK in Shanghai. As a technology-driven company, innovation is playing a role for Henkel as engine for ship. And to protect all of the outcomes, we need patent and therefore we need patent attorney.


Job responsibilities:
1) Patent exploration and patent draft
2) Patent infringement analysis
3) Invalidation on other party's patent and deal with invalidation on our patent by third party
4) Answer OA during patent examination
5) Patent related contract like license contract


Job requirements:
1) Master degree of Chemistry-related specialty and Polymer is prefered
2) 3~5 years working experience either in Patent department of chemical industry or patent agency
3) Excellent language skills of Chinese and English especially in writing and speaking
4) Good communication skill especially with R&D persons
5) Friendly personality and ability of teamwork and good qualities such as honesty, patience, carefulness etc.
6) Skilled in MS-Office softwares
