岗位职责:
Purpose:
To facilitate the effective and timely completion of project work, either directly or indirectly through the release of another key member of the site manufacturing management team. To manage ‘compliance’ related processes and procedures to ensure all legal, industry and internal requirements are maintained. To support on-going improvement/Excellence related activities from an operational and implementation perspective. To obtain a wider understanding of the organisation to enhance internal career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
? To provide an additional dayshift-based site resource to lead specific project work across a range of functions.
? Facilitate the release of Shift Managers or Department Managers (Finishing, Gel etc.) for personal development opportunities (Excellence, inter-group secondments etc.) or the completion of improvement based project work. To have a good understanding of the Shift Manager role and a basic understanding of peripheral functions. Shift working may be required.
? If appropriate, provide Shift Manager cover during prolonged periods of absence.
? Deputise for the Manufacturing Manager/Plant Manager role during periods of absence or to facilitate short-medium term secondments or project work by the Manufacturing/Plant Manager. Deputise for the Manufacturing/Plant Manager day-to-day when off site or unavailable.
? To support the site manufacturing team to achieve an improved level of ‘compliance’ attainment and improvement work, including safety (BOLT action tracking, risk assessment management, ERT development, safety survey/self assessment actions etc.), quality (GMP audit actions, Workbench task management, complaint investigations, backtracks etc.) and environmental (audit completion, effluent monitoring, utility usage etc.
? To ensure all improvement opportunities are optimised through the co-ordination of the ‘implementation’ element of the Excellence delivery structure; management of IT suggestion implementation and feedback, project chartering, management of SSYB and SSGB and kaizen activities and action plans.
? To manage the improved control of existing tools and techniques to ensure process stability and improvement. Examples include, the review od SPC data to highlight issues and manage actions, utilising the output from a more meaningful SOC data capture system including the review of trends, reviewing 5S audit status and results/trends and recommending and managing actions, as appropriate. Manage product change data and reports and identifying areas for improved performance.
? Manage an A3 ‘Problem Line’ tracking systems to ensure all issues are documented and data captured for future reference. Track A3 allocation and sustainability results.
? Support the revised operator and Chargehand grading system to ensure the timely delivery of training and development and the efficient progression through the frameworks for appropriate individuals.
? To be an active participant in internal Forums covering areas such as Communication, Energy, Environmental and Health and Safety.
? Manage the compilation and delivery of shift communication/briefing sessions.
? Manage the compilation and communication of the shift/area performance reporting and recognition system, if applicable.
? Co-ordinate the ‘management of change’ process to ensure all change activities are captured, documented, approved and reviewed.
? To develop a wider understanding of Devro business processes and procedures to enable potential future progression within the manufacturing function or an alternative area within Devro.
? Must speak, read and write English and Chinese

? Be responsible for specific operations outwith the continuous shift area, for example Fine-S Cold Shirr or Film Finishing. Tasks may include the completion of operator PDR reviews, holiday planning, stock/WIP control, grade/training progression etc.
