Role : Operative Marketing
Department : Sales Office China Business Unit Agricultural and Forestry Tires
1. Main Activities
Capabilities
a. Marketing Intelligence
Collecting marketing information and building data bases re. the agricultural Industry such us distribution channels, end users market segmentation, cropland and mechanization, tire sizes, OE manufacturers, pricing, macroeconomics, agriculture development etc.
Analytical
b. Benchmark analysis
Analyzing the competitive environment and dynamics providing benchmarks in terms of new products, performances, prices, discounts, sales campaigns, advertising campaign, incentive programs, promotions etc.
c. Support to Management and Sales
supporting the Managing Director Asia in formulating strategies for the China market and orchestrate the implementation of such policies via relevant programs and business development activities.Initiative
Proactive
d. Sales support and relationship management
Liaising with main customers and key contacts in the OE and Aftermarket as well as local authorities, Following up projects, initiatives and new opportunities in conjunction with key customers. Working collaboratively with the sales team to implement optimal marketing strategies that enhance brand image and growth potential through effective management of public relation and/or below the line promotional activities
d. Marketing & Communication
Defining implementing and managing the marketing plan in line with corporate guidelines to support sales and secure market development. Managing the marketing budget according to the marketing plan as well as the assigned budget for advertising and promotion actions/activities.
Providing support and organizing local agricultural shows, fairs and local events.
Communication
e. Customer Database
Responsible for maintaining and updating all the relevant information in the Customer's database system
2. Knowledge
Degree in economics with specialization in marketing. MBA appreciated.
Conversant with Mandarin Chinese/English. Advanced in MS Office software
3. Experience
3-5 years experience in industrial marketing and/or business development experience, gained ideally with agricultural tire/machinery company with strong presence in China , a person able to work independently with impeccable and proved professional integrity
Organizational Dimension:
The role reports directly to ASIA Managing Director and functionally to BU AFT Marketing Director
