JOB DESCRIPTION
Title : Sales Manager
Location : Beijing
Report to : Sales Director
Supervise : Senior Sales Engineer/Sales Engineer
Overall Purpose of Job:
- Handling of sales in a specific region within the framework of the strategies and policies of the company.
- Be responsible for daily operation in Beijing office.
Main Tasks:
- To direct and motive sales staff to form a productive and efficient working team.
- To make proposal for the sales objective,
strategy, and cost budget for the region in
question. After review and approval by the
management to carry out the qualitative and
quantitative targets as stated in the
budget, in respect of policies and the
authority assigned.
- To act in customer meetings, arrangements, seminars, exhibitions, etc.
- To maintain serious and good relations to customers, authorities, relevant bodies
and distribution channels.
- To involve in dealing with customer's complaints of products and their functioning.
- To appoint and terminate dealership in
distribution channels, based on advance
approval from management.
- To search for/ consider new possibilities and prospects for increasing the sales.
- To monitor that product services live up to standards laid down by the company/the Group.
- To search for information on customers and competitor's lines of conduct and market trends as well, and in co-operation with the Management to consider actions that might be taken.
- To involve in dealing with cross territory
sales issues.
- To provide sales and office operation reports timely.
- To supervise office set up and development in accordance with company strategy.
- To plan and control selling and office administration expenses.
- To take the operational* responsibilities of Sales, Customer service, Logistic, HR &
Administration in Beijing office.
- Other tasks assigned by Management.
* Operational means daily routine. While HQ's unit leaders are responsible for the "Function" concern.
JOB PROFILE
Education and training
- Diploma or degree holder in electrical or mechanics field
- Good command in oral and written Chinese & English
- Other languages or dialects will be an advantage
Experiences
- At least 5 years experience with pumps or control panels maintenance or consultancy or sales works
Personality
- Good Management/leadership skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Adequate commercial knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Aggressive
- Result driven
- Team player
- Customer driven
- Able to solve problem
- Good listener
- High ego needs
Physique
- Male or Female
- Preferably 30 to 35 years old
- Matured with good mental attitude
- Physically fit
Other Requirements
- Knowledge to operate PC and own a valid driving license will be an advantage

- Willing to attend educational course during his or her private time with company's sponsorship
