JOB TITLE: Operational Strength and Durability Local Engineer
DEPARTMENT: Complete Vehicle
REPORTS TO:
HIERARCHY:

Objectives of the Job:

Main Duties:

1. Support the group leader or the lead Engineer in the analysis of the Customer requirements regarding the operational strength and durability performance of the vehicle collecting and reorganizing the necessary date
2. Support the target setting at vehicle, subsystem, system and component level.
3. Support the lead Engineer in the draft of the VTS, SSTS and DVP
4. Provide support on the test location.
5. Act as interface between the customer and the lead engineer/expert and the project team
6. Support the lead Engineer/Expert in the trouble shooting analysis and problem solving on specific durability issues, analyzing and reorganizing the data preparing presentation and documents.
7. Provide information to the group Leader or Lead engineer/expert on the status of the assigned task.


Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree or above, Vehicle/Mechanical Engineering;
2. 2-3 years working experience in vehicle integration and testing preferably at OEM, including instrumentation and data acquisition as well as signal analysis(specific training will be provided for the right candidate)
3. Excellent Knowledge of the overall vehicle process development
4. Working knowledge of component and vehicle testing
5. Good planning skills:
6. Excellent ability in interpretating and following procedures and guidelines as laid down by the customer, MSC, or legal requirements.
7. Excellent knowledge of the continuum mechanics and fatigue theory.
