Position: Offshore Senior Project Manager
Report to: Project Head (Foreigner)
Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the execution of sales contracts for manufacturing, delivery, commissioning and hand over to clients. Contract implementation must be within the agreed budget, contract conditions and time frame.
? Project management of offshore wind farm projects world wide
? Ensuring targeted and full communication within the project team and to all relevant stakeholders
? Overall responsible for budget, time schedule and quality of the project
? Tender and contracting process with subcontractors. Management of subcontractors
? Planning and execution of site logistics
? Ensuring targeted and full communication within the project team and to all relevant stakeholders
? Train and educate a Junior Project Manager and facilitate his or hers personal development through project management tasks
? Master either contract management, claims management or have profound technical wind turbine knowledge to such a degree that you can counsel and support other project managers.
? Assist and support Head of Offshore Project Management in solving line organizational tasks if required
? Be a role model for other project managers and assistants.
? Within the signature Rules for Project Management in ER WP PM escalate any matters which has a potential to impact the EBIT on your project.
? Conduct own work in compliance with national and international legislation
? Report on HSE issues and incidents wherever and whenever occurring
? Keep your self informed on Integrated Management System, company Process House as well as procedures, instructions and guidelines related to the position
? Conduct own work in accordance with these.
? React on / report on observed nonconformities and deviations from written procedures, instructions and guidelines.
? Actively contribute to environmental protecting activities, e.g. responsible handling of waste and substance.



Requirements:

? Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Project Management
? Advanced English orally and in writing
? Knowledge of QA and HSE assessments
? Advanced team leading skills
? Excellent communications skills
? Strategic overview of contract risks and opportunities
? Excellent negotiation skills
? Project management experience from turn-key projects and complex installation projects. Previous site management experience
? Experience from wind power, steel, offshore or marine business
? Taking the lead, being proactive, making things happen - without ever loosing the team behind
? Openminded approach to people and a high degree of intercultural awareness
?
? Bachelor or master degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent majors.
? Other degrees are also relevant, as long as the candidate has a strong technical sales profile, with proven track record in successfully selling technical projects in an international environment.
? Extensive experience in project sales or development, preferably for Wind offshore or onshore projects.
? If no experience in Wind, technical sales experience in the energy or power sector might qualify.
? Previous responsibility of complex projects in multilingual and multicultural teams and professional work experience with large customers.
? Project management skills (desirable), analysis of project economics.
? Technical understanding of wind projects.
? Customer and competitor knowledge.
? Wind Power product portfolio, processes and procedures.
? Knowledge of wind market development and trends, development of Account- and Marketing Plans.
? Negotiation skills, contract management knowledge as well as basic commercial knowledge.
? Self-motivated, passionate team player, ability to work in a cross-functional team.
? Intercultural sensitivity and experiences working in an international environment.
? Mobility: willingness to serve customers in entire APAC region (mainly China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea).
? MS Office (User), Lean.
? Fluent English (oral and written).
