Position Purpose

To support Growth Project in Asia-Pacific and growing needs of the local business. This includes providing technical expertise and consultation on all aspects of the flexo printing process with special focus on flexible packaging.

Key tasks

？ Provide on going support to converters to ensure they constantly improve their printing skills, quality of printing and cost effective operations.
？ Coordinate and lead print pilot jobs with the converters to ensure product success – advise on settings and parameters as Anilox, Inks and press specifics.
？ Trouble shooting, press- plate interface issues。
？ Continuously upgrade skills and bring learning’s to partner converters.
？ Provide training for new press installations and on going advisory services – these services may be provided free or on a fee basis depending on how the business develops.
？ Assist in developing new converters and maintaining them.
？ Train sales teams, Technical Marketing, partners and customers all around the Flexo Process.

Capabilities

？ Can provide in-depth expertise and consultation on all aspects of Flexo and gravure, offset printing processes. Printer with hands-on print experience, quickly generates credibility.
？ Self-managed with a “go to” attitude. Has curiosity to self-develop.
？ Willing to travel to other regions
？ Capable to work collaboratively with sales & marketing to close business.
？ Effective in front of customers…generates good will.
？ Good command in Chinese and English, written and verbal
？ Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong customer service mind
？ Team work and cross functional understandings in an international cultural environment
？ An appropriate degree or professional qualification is a pre requisite.
？ Proficient and effective in producing presentations and training materials.
？ Understands press operations: Flexo print workflow, Fingerprinting, Inks, Anilox.
？ Has knowledge of color management / proofing and relevant software solutions.


Experiences

？ Worked in Flexible Packaging environment.
？ 10 to 15 years experience in relevant industry.
？ Acknowledged expert in Flexo Printing.
？ Good knowledge in Gravure Printing, Offset.
？ Knowledge of Substrates, plate making and prepress.
？ Experiences of substrates and other processes such as lamination, extrusion in the flexible packaging industry is a plus.
