职位描述

1. PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for Sales in China / Sales Channel, Key Accounts Development and Management.



2. REPORTS TO: (Title):

Vice President, Asia Pacific

MPT Group


3. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Sales Channel support and management.

· Develop contacts, set appointments, make sales calls, and demonstrate products

· Organize and maintain a data base of potential customers, opportunity funnel and orders

· Plan forecast for sales by month, quarter, and year

· Build strong and lasting relationships with channel partners and customers

· Expand contact base and opportunity funnel through networking

· Develop relationship with engineering houses, system integrators and consulting companies

· Identify customer needs, applications and develop product proposals

· Develop competitive strategies in conjunction with channel partners

· Apply best practices and value selling techniques

· Identify opportunity in terms of units, dollars, probability, and timing

· Coordinate promotions and plan local marketing activities with channel partners

· Coordinate with sales channels, and develop common sales strategies

· Coordinate and execute technical issues with Product Specialist

· Develop COE and maintain market awareness

· Coordinate in-house and on site customer visits

· Develop non-traditional markets and applications

· Develop Key Account programs

· Plan, develop and deliver technical seminars and hands programs in house and external



4. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering(additional business degree would be an asset but not a pre-requisite)

· 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in products or services for Food, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care and Chemical industries. (Knowledge in TCM would be an asset),

· Successful sales history with average English, speaking, writing, and telephone skills

· Willing to travel throughout China

· Comfortable and capable working with process equipment

· Computer literate with typical document skills

· Comfortable to work in different situations from the plant level to corporate management.

· Outgoing, motivated, honest, tenacious, and able to work with minimum supervision

· Able to think quickly and adapt to new situations, good decision making skills
