Reports to: Area Manager
Overall Job Function: Responsible for maximizing profitability in the store. Leads, manages, coordinates and organizes the business according to H&M's shared values, standards, policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
To Maximize Sales Opportunities through commerciality focus and outstanding customer service.
Sales Controlling. Monitors and establishes sales goals, sales plans and sales budgets. Follows up to optimize profit.
Merchandising. Oversees that the store presents the garments to meet H&M high standards, has detailed knowledge about our trends and concepts and ensures that proper feedback is given to the Area team and Merchandising Team.
Visual. Ensures that the garment care and visual standards meet H&M expectations.
Garment flow. Makes sure that the store's allocation is correct and that the garments are presented on the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
Admin-routines. Oversees that the store is following H&M policies and procedures.
Cost Controlling. Establishes and supervises plans, budgets and cost follow up according to company goals to optimize the profit.
HR. Makes sure that the store has the right staff level at all times, maintain focus upon staff development, follows our policies and procedures, and works according to our shared values to ensure the company's future growth.
Security. Works according to H&M policies, procedures and routines and makes sure that appropriate loss prevention and shrinkage decisions are being made.
Maintenance. Oversees that the store's interior and equipment are maintained to meet H&M-standards.
Other. Maintains working knowledge and contact with all additional Functions that influence the ability to meet overall Job Function and responsibility.
Managerial Responsibility:
Sets goals and gives directions to each department within the store to maximize profitability.
Supports the departments with knowledge and directions of how to always maximize sales opportunities.
Works as a symbolic leader and makes sure that our shared values are being used.
Ensures that each Manager, Visual, COR and Sales Associate has the right knowledge and that they work in line with the company strategy.
Leads, coordinates and organizes the work of the Managers, Visuals and COR.
Provides constant feedback, evaluations and performance reviews to the staff.
Focuses upon teamwork and works actively to establish a professional management team and an efficient staff.
Ensures that the Area Team and Managers, Visuals and CORs always have the necessary information to make the right business decisions.
Job Requirements:
Ability to provide leadership, motivate and develop staff through our shared values.
Exceptional customer service-and interpersonal skills.
Proven organizational and analytical skills.
Have strong merchandising skills and the ability to drive business through creativity and fashion consciousnesses.
Able to work strategically, tactically and operationally.
Able to work in a fast pace environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ideally prior retail management experience.
