To Perform HVAC engineering work for all assigned AP China executed gasification projects, ensure HVAC design work executed smoothly in timely, cost effective and high-quality manner and support team goal of GEMTE gasification execution engineering & design team.

To perform either in house HVAC design or supervising the local design institute for HVAC design for all GEMTE executed gasification projects and providing as requested design support across the other countries. This position requires relative senior level of engineer who is able to perform the required HVAC design responsibilities and provide proper judgement in reviewing third parties’ HVAC design drawing. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Perform various aspects of HVAC design for Pre-FEED/BED of gasification projects in China and Pre-FEED/BED/DED of gasification projects in other countries, including but not limited to: 

? Prepare material / equipment specifications, equipment data sheet, etc.; 

? Prepare and finish calculation, layout, PID and other drawings for HVAC systems; 

? Prepare and finish documents for subcontract requisitions, like equipment list, MTO, MR, etc.; 

? Review vendor documents and technical bids, etc.

2. Well understand of international and national industry HVAC standard/code.

3.Has strong communication & inter disciplinary coordination skills, working with architecture, civil, electrical, process and piping discipline, and exchange design condition during work process.

4. Review and approve other HVAC engineer’s design work.

5.Support project proposal estimation, project execution, construction QA/QC, initiate HVAC design changes as necessary.

6. Prepare and finish the HVAC documents according to local authorities’ requirements.

7. Site construction support.

8. Perform CSA team infrastructure building, including lesson learn sharing, technical issues solving, low-cost design initiatives and coaching junior engineers. 

9.Lead the creation and maintenance of HVAC key work processes and engineering standards to ensure that competitive and safe design of projects on a global basis. 

10. Other tasks required by the company when necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.Minimum 8~10 years work experience in HVAC engineering and design for Coal Chemical, Oil and Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related industries with China Design Institute or Engineering Company.

2. Bachelor’s degree in HVAC Engineering. 

3. Working level for both written and spoken English.

4.Job Incumbent is expected to have experience in Coal Chemical, Oil and Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related overseas projects.

5. Job Incumbent is expected to be familiar with HVAC equipment purchase packages.

6. Be skilled in HVAC design software like Hongye, PKPM, etc.
