？ The jobholder will provide mechanical design, engineering, inspection, equipment commissioning, mechanical equipment trouble shooting support for the gasification / purification mechanical equipment, including the preparation of technical bidding package / purchase packages, reviewing licensor or vendors mechanical design drawing, perform critical inspection points during shop fabrication or site installation. This includes both domestic and oversea projects in coal gasification, oil gasification, steam-methane reform, carbon monoxide shift and other process unit.

？ The jobholder will also work alongside the licenser engineer and the focus will be critical gasification / purification equipment (Gasifier, burner, syngas cooler, and reactor) interface management as well as required engineering support. The jobholder will work with licensor and provide BED/DED for other routine mechanical equipments;

？ The jobholder will be also expected to provide mechanical equipment cost estimation engineering manhour supporting to PDE.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Conduct mechanical engineering and design of process equipment such as Gasifier, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Filters, Storage Tanks, Reactors, etc.

?Preparation of engineering specification, mechanical data sheets, technical evaluation for vendor proposal and provide technical bid tap, review and approval of vendor design calculations, fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR, Inspection & Testing Plan (ITP) etc.

?Working with QC lead to perform critical holding point inspection during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases, co-ordination with QC inspectors and engineering disciplines within the company, resolving problems during engineering and fabrication stages.

? Working with sourcing engineer for new supplier qualification and supplier performance.

?Building good relationship and communicate with global mechanical community leads, Participating the global meetings and conference as need.

? Build and Develop engineering standard for gasification/purification equipment.

? Support PDE in mechanical equipment and man hour estimation.

?Provide good technical suggestion to project team and coaching to mechanical team in problem solving and decision making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

?BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years design experience in pressure vessels, columns, storage tanks, heat exchangers, reactor etc in coal gasification or Petro Chemical Industry.

?Familiarity with the requirements of China local pressure vessel design code (GB code). Familar with internationally recognized codes i.e, ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2, TEMA, API 660, ASME B31.3.

?Experience with design software including SW6, Compress, PVELITE, Auto Pipe, HTFS or HTRI. Experience in Analysis will be a plus.

? Good knowledge and experience in inspection of pressure vessels fabrication, materials, welding and NDE.

? Familiar with software of Microsoft office, Auto CAD.

?Strong communication, teamwork and influence skills. Must be able to speak and write English fluently and interact with engineers from US, Europe and Asia.

? Experience in coal gasification process and design / engineering will be an advantage.

?Experience in design and fabrication of critical equipment (i.e, coal gasifier, syngas cooler, incinerator in sulfur recover unit, and reformer in SMR unit, burners); Experience in commissioning, start-up, inspection and maintenance support services for above mentioned will be a plus.

? Influent in English speaking and writing and willing for international business trip.
