Responsibility
? Responsible for new application development for South China for high performance plastics for assigned market segments and new segments
? Research into potential key end-users on new design possibilities and turn it into new business opportunities and realize it
? Drive responsible region growth and drive virtual team by program.
? Build close working relationship with strategic global and local clients and business alliances
? Champion new projects and drive it to successful closure, including coordinating between Technical Development, Application Support and Program groups on key accounts management across boundaries
? Initiate new product development to ensure repeated business from key accounts

Requirement
? Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science and Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent majors
? Min 8 years working experience in plastic product design, thermoplastics processing and materials knowledge etc, (knowledge in high performance plastics is preferred.)
? Automotive working experience is preferred
? Broad based understanding of polymers, conversion process and secondary operations
? Good team work spirit and significant interaction with regional peers and cross function
? Develop and drive regional growth strategy
? Understanding the application of mechanical engineering concepts to Part Design DFMA & System Cost Analysis
? Proven project management skills – able to manage multiple projects / new products rollout concurrently
? Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin 
? Self-starter and a strong team player
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
