职位描述
Principal Accountabilities
1. To be fully responsible for the development of sales and customer base in China as well as the achievement of the sales and profitability targets. Working with the team to set up the future strategy and the action plans to successfully penetrate the market in China.
2. Proactively seeking new customers, consolidating and developing existing ones identifying & follow up product opportunities. Maintaining and improving the relationship with the OE manufacturers International and local and promote the business with them
3. Providing continuous information about the competitive environment to the Marketing Manager (distribution and service models, pricing structure, strength points and weakness) as well as constantly advising on the tactical guidelines.
4. Working in conjunction with the marketing manager to refine strategies on the base of the information provided
5. Participating to the recruitment process to build up the future sales organization which the sales manager will supervise
6. In conjunction with MD, setting up sales targets to the local salesmen and constantly assist and direct them in order to achieve the sales targets
7. Coordinating with MD and global OE director in order to follow the company’s guidelines as far as the OE’s customers are concerned.
8. To visit and promote our products to the key end users organisation such as cooperatives , state owned farms, mega farms and To provide technical feedback and monitor the product performance as well as follow up technical claims in conjunction with local sales manager and marketing manager
Qualifications/Skills
1. At least 8-10 years sales management experience in a leading Agriculture, Tyre industry or OE Manufacturers.
2. Bachelor Degree or above in Business or Engineering. MBA is a plus.
3. Adequate technical knowledge of tyres across all segments.
4. Proactive Negotiation and persuasion skills and independence sales skills.
5. Excellent Customer Focus skills and analytical skills.
6. Sophisticated management skills and interpersonal skills
7. Fluent in both oral and written English.
8. Preference to candidates who have worked in different segments in same company or different tyre companies and exposed to different tyre consumer segments.
9. Experience in devising sales strategies and plans to achieve targets and increase sales in the local and rural markets
10. Handled market development and grown the business in their respective regions – preference to those who have been recognised for such performance.
11. Devised and managed sales promotional initiatives, dealer meets, road shows, etc. and grown the business in their areas.
12. Experienced in channel sales / dealer network creation and management – should have good contacts in Agriculture Machinery tyre and related channels.
13. Exposure to direct institutional / government sales would be considered as an asset,
