Cooling Technical Support Engineer

Schneider Electric is a global leader in energy solutions and management.
As Cooling Technical Support Engineer, you will be based in Shanghai or Zhuhai – China and join a team of 20 high level professionals working in different locations worldwide. The team provides expert escalation support on ITD products (Secure Power and Cooling), both remotely and at customer site.
The main recipients are Schneider Electric Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and Certified Service Partners (CSPs) all over the world.
You will be in the move of the IoT revolution where all Schneider Electric connected products will provide key information to allow predictive and advanced maintenance.
The international aspect of this position means occasional travels all over the world.
Support technical escalation of Expert Level issues.
Your primary mission will be to solve technical problems by answering day-to-day FSRs and CSPs escalations on Cooling products (Precision Air Conditioners, Chillers and Indirect Air Economizers) intended mainly for Data Center applications.
You will be also in charge of setting up product information data for FSR purposes and troubleshooting guides on our website.
In addition, you will participate in new project development, reviews and technical tests and you will help to improve service performance, upgrade FSR service tools and processes, as well as contribute to customer specific analysis reports.

Technical profile with commercial understanding.
- You have a master degree in Engineering (preferably in thermomechanicalor energetic field);
- In addition, you have at least 5 years of experience in field service activities on Cooling products;
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in other languages would be a plus.
As a person, you are independent with strong communication and networking skills. With your solid cooling and electrical competencies, you are able to solve complex problems remotely, as well as to explain technical information to others.
At the same time, you are flexible and result-oriented and you are able to bridge the gap between the technical sphere and the rest of the organization, thereby providing our customers the best possible service and solutions.
