What We Offer:

- Key Tasks

• Conducts all R&D laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.

• Recognized within the solar industry as being a technical expert in a specific technology, application and/or product line.

• Manages large-scale internal/external conflicts professionally and efficiently.

• Successfully handles on-site support of complex customer issues.

• Regularly uses project/program management skills/tools to drive regional/global projects to completion.

• Expected to coordinate and lead global Engineering resources supporting the growth and maintenance of Henkel’s solar business and ensuring cross-regional communication and collaboration.

• Expected to lead cross-functional teams to address problems associated with Henkel products used within the solar industry.

• Successfully provides insight and support with respect to the development of new products/technologies or qualification of existing products associated with the solar industry.

• Generates internal/external testing plans and/or experiments.

- Strategic Responsibilities

• Effectively and concisely delivers written/verbal communication as well as disseminates/shares knowledge/ideas within the organization and corresponding leadership/stakeholders.

• Demonstrated knowledge of major products, technologies and/or processes associated with solar industry. Uses knowledge while contributing to Henkel’s strategic and tactical planning.

• Identifies unique opportunities that create customer value that leads to the generation of sales.

• Acts as a Henkel Ambassador and represents Henkel and its interests externally.

• Contributes notably to Henkel's IP realization efforts based on knowledge of market needs/trends and competitor activities associated the solar industry.

• Contributes notably to road mapping of technology/business development associated with the solar industry.

Who We are Looking for:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.

• 7+ Years’ experience working in the solar industry and recognized within the solar industry and as being a technical expert in a specific technology, application and/or product line. Working experience in EIMEA or the Americas preferred.

• Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.

• Demonstrated ability to partner with other team members in product development programs.

• Experience in writing technical papers or reports as well presenting results to a technical team.

• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills. Candidate must be able to work in a global team atmosphere and independently on multi-task assignments.

• Knowledgeable in Power Point, Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, Microsoft Project and Statistical Analysis Software is preferred.
