Title Role: Software Engineer (Linux Device Driver)
As a Software Engineer you will take an active part in the development of our firmware used in our Wearable Video products. You will perform analysis, design, and implementation and write unit/functional tests of new functionality in the platform. Furthermore you will work with quality-enhancing activities such as debugging and bug fixing. The role may also include some customer interactions as the team is close to the market.

Reports to: R&D Manager
Responsibilities (key accountabilities)
? Take an active part in the development of our firmware used in our wearable video products.
? Owner of the device drivers on embedded devices
? Work closely with HW/SW team and trouble shooting on low level software issues
? Some customer interactions as the team is close to the market.
Profile (Qualifications for this job) Knowledge, abilities, skills
? Bachelor/Master degree on Computer Science, EE or Communication
? Solid software development skills and ability to write production quality code
? Experience with Linux device driver development to bring up/maintain various interfaces like, UART, USB, Ethernet, audio codec, I2C, SPI, SD/MMC/NAND, HDMI, LCD, Displays, touch
? Understand operating system concepts including processes, threads, mutex, interrupt handling, and virtual memory
? Experience with scripting languages, build systems, and version control systems
? Experience with Linux file systems including EXT4, MTD, UBI/UBIFS, JFFS2 is a plus
? Experience with boot loaders, firmware update is a plus
? Socket and Network programming experience is a plus
? Experience with IP Camera/Wearable Camera system is a plus
? Good Mandarin/English communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability
