POSITION SUMMARY
 
Purpose
 
To execute internal audit activity, investigation incidence and SOX controls testing professionally and independently as assigned.
 
Nature and Scope
 
This regional audit position will be responsible for planning and conducting operational and financial audits to assess the risks and controls within our various business organizations and our core and enabling processes. Some audits will be in response to specific consulting requests from Business Management or Global/Regional Process Owners. Data analysis and interface with our SAP ERP environment will be required to successfully perform certain audits. Depending on the individual’s experience level and Air Products exposure, the successful candidate will conduct audits independently or as part of an audit team. Over the course of a 2 to 3 year assignment, the candidate will be given exposure to a wide variety of Global/Regional Businesses and Process Areas by performing a variety of operational and financial audits. The candidate will also be leading or supporting investigation and assist to perform SOX controls testing.
 
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
  
1. Lead four to six audits and assist in similar number of audits (as associate auditor) in a year. Liaise with the chief audit executive, audit manager, sponsors and auditees to issue high value audit planning memorandum and risks matrix, perform efficient and effective audit fieldwork, propose scalable and sustainable management action plan for audit observations and issue audit report in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Procedure (GIAP).
 
  
2. Render assistance to the Global Investigation team from time-to-time by substantiating to supporting documents such as Travel & Entertainment envelopes, data extraction from SAP and participating in investigation interviews in accordance with the Global Investigation Procedure.
 
  
3. Participate in the annual SOX controls testing program by liaising with external auditors, SOX PMO and the respective SOX coordinators.
 
  
4. Provide training to new hires in terms of GIAP, Auto Audit, SAP, ACL (Audit analysis tool), ethics and integrity and other programs. Provide counsel to the functional team on internal controls issue.
 
  
5. Participate or lead in the global continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to internal audit. Upgrade competency of internal controls knowledge and auditing techniques by participating in continuous professional education (internal or external).
 
  
6. Develop close relationships with country general managers and key functional heads by holding periodic discussions with them to be up to date on the latest business development and emerging risks and also to acquire key business knowledge and build up business acumen.
 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
? Bachelor’s degree and strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
? Five to eight years of previous internal audit experience is preferred, or public accounting, or comparable company’s internal Accounting Transactional Services/Shared Business Services/Business Decision Support experience.
? Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPA) certifications are also preferred, or the candidate should be willing to obtain audit certification while in this position.
? Have an inquisitive mind and analytical thought process, to be self-starter/tenacious and capable of working independently but also not afraid to ask for help.
? To be prepared to travel 20-30% of the time.
? Very confident communicating in English (leading discussions, influencing decisions, making presentations, and writing reports).
? Experience with SAP is also desirable, and knowledge of ACL would be considered a plus. 举报 分享
