PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

· Identify, communicate, implement and maintain "best practices" and procedures

· Develop and implement initiatives to improve the safety, reliability, or efficiency of rotating equipment.

· Identify cost savings opportunities in spare parts by leveraging reverse engineering skills and experience to repair or make ourselves.

· Create solid relationships with major machinery suppliers in China. Insure the organization is keeping up with new machinery development and technology improvements.

· Responsible for developing technical capabilities in the plant maintenance organizations at the maintenance engineering level to allow for local support for large turbo-machinery overhauls.

· Develop, implement, and/or maintain effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs in JVCo .

· Regularly evaluate effectiveness of maintenance programs and modify accordingly to insure optimum reliability and cost benefits are maintained.

· Continually work with Plant Maintenance Manager, Operation Manager to drive productivity and cost savings and enhancement through improved work process and equipment performance.

· Analyze data to reduce operating and maintenance costs related to machinery performance using sound technical engineering review of data and processes.

· Implement and manage engineering requirements to satisfy machinery selection, maintenance and reliability initiatives for maintenance teams that comply with AP initiatives and programs.

· Actively participant in safety programs, promote, and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.

· Promoted an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening and timely problem resolutions

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

· Possess a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

· Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in rotating equipment machinery engineering and maintenance. Having machinery design and application knowledge is advantageous.

· Technical knowledge and experience in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of large rotating equipment [eg. centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, steam turbines ].

· Familiar with American Petroleum Institute Standards pertaining machinery [ API610 – Centrifugal Pumps, API682 Mechanical Seals, API612 Steam Turbines, API618 Reciprocating Compressor, API686 Machinery Installation.].

· Familiar with Dry Gas Seals for CO Compressors.

· Experience in centrifugal compressor and steam turbine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is essential.

· Experienced in large rotating equipment commissioning.

· Familiar and well verse with machinery vibration diagnostics skills and machinery troubleshooting skills.

· Well verse with root cause analysis techniques.

· Strong verbal and written communications skills a must with the ability to work across culturally.

· Able to communicate in English ( spoken & written ) is helpful.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.

· Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills are essential 举报 分享
