OVERALL ROLE
Acted as the Head of BD will lead to increase & manage sales in China with the goal of significantly increasing penetration into China market with key client.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with China management teams to set business development priorities and action plans designed to capture the most strategic growth opportunities and to maximize profitability in line with Key Client.
Build relationships and networks amongst potential targets/partners/advisors in and outside of China for the benefit of business objectives; support relationship management with existing partners to minimize/resolve any disputes.
Proactively identify business development opportunities through broad sourcing strategies both in the domestic market and globally.
Evaluate & prioritize opportunities through development of robust & compelling business cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams, which drive gated go/no-go decisions on partnerships.
Drive and coordinate all activities necessary to evaluate and complete transactions, including portfolio analysis, financial analysis, due diligence, legal contracts, and other activities.
Negotiate deal parameters / contract terms with partners to ensure proposed transactions create value.
Lead and develop a team of industry leading Business Development professionals and effectively manage overall department activity.
Ensure that the key account services provided are of highest standards possible and in accordance with the company's quality policies.
Ensure all areas of business development within personal scope of control are conducted in compliance with all internal and legal requirements.
Assure company's sales and marketing mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented to internal and external parties in a strong, positive and responsible manner.
Ensure that internal PDR, talent management and succession planning activities, as relevant to direct reports are conducted in a timely manner. Hold direct reports accountable for doing likewise

Requirements:
? At least 10 years business experience in sales & marketing, strategy, finance, and or business development roles. Experience from food industry is preferred.
? An experienced leader with appropriate professional audio industry experience.
? Established network and deep knowledge of China market strongly preferred.
? Strong track record of leading a large commercial sales team and able to motivate the team to achieve targets and revenues.
? Track record of completing successful business development transactions and/or establishing significant business partnerships, including leading negotiations of deal terms/contracts with partners.
? MBA degree or similar preferred.
? Fluent oral and written English
? Demonstrated ability to manage the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, thus ensuring consistency and alignment to the organization's strategic marketing plan.
? Demonstrated ability to manage the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, and oversee the execution through the sales channels.
? Effective use of subject matter knowledge and skills to achieve goals.
? Detailed knowledge and understanding of the total organization and the domestic market
? Working to detailed knowledge of the other functional areas of China Marketing and Sales, including Customer Service and Sales
? Excellent analytical/quantitative skills.
? Thorough understanding of business development process including conducting opportunity analysis, technology assessment, due diligence, financial statement analysis, financial valuation and financial modeling/ROI, and legal agreements.
? Very strong interpersonal and networking skills.
? Excellent strategic thinking, leadership and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work and lead across functional teams.
? Mature, independent, self-starter, entrepreneurial.
? Excellent written and oral communication in Mandarin and English.
? Willing to travel frequently throughout China to meet position objectives.
? An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
? A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
