Responsibilities:
−Design SW functions based on well understanding of marketing requirements and user applications; provide design documents with high quality.
−Design and implement the embedded SW architecture, modules, and interfaces in RTOS.
−Deliver source codes with high quality in programming languages for different micro-processors.
−Debug and track the SW problems under related development environment.
−Design and perform unit test to verify the SW functions and quality based on related test tools.
−Review the work of other colleagues, and provide proposals of technical solution.
−Proactively propose improvements to the products or the SW functions.
−Provide innovation ideas for the products.
−Coach the junior engineers.
−Lead embedded SW projects from technical aspects.
−Cooperate with international R&D team and project manager.

Requirements:
−Good knowledge and ability of developing embedded SW in RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, QNX, etc.).
−Strong competency of programming with SW languages (C, C++, C#, Java, and etc).
−Ability to use the test tools (Omicron, Klockwork, Cantata++, PcLint, etc.)
−Good knowledge about microprocessors and low level drivers for the electronic chips.
−Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. English is compulsory.
−Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
−Positive, self-disciplined, self-motivated.
−Knowledge and experience of communication protocols development are preferable. (TCP/IP, IEC101/103/104, DNP3, Modbus, Profibus, and especially IEC61850.)
−SW architecture design experience is a plus
−Windows programming is a plus.
−Assembling language is a plus.
−Experience in T&D industry is big advantageous.

Work Experience and education Recommendations:
−Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
−Minimal 5 years of experience in embedded software development. (Or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.)
