Title: China Country Leader

Report to: Director

Industry Description:
One of the company’s products is offering third-party inspection services to the following industries: Petroleum, Chemicals, Agricultural Products, Minerals, and Consumer Products.

Key Objectives:
1. To determine the appropriate entry strategy to China in the Inspection and Testing Services industry. This includes identification of the most viable mode of entry (via Joint Venture, partnership, direct investment or other); scale of entry; type of investment & control; and which markets to enter.
2. To provide a set of Detailed Plans and Strategies that shall, at the minimum, tackle the following:
o Established patterns
o Emerging trends and expected market triggers
o Market size and future growth rates
o Competitive standing of industry players
o Legal & regulatory requirements
o Risk assessment
o Unmet market needs, if any
o Proposed services to be offered, their pricing, promotion and locations
o Target clients
o Country-specific investment considerations

Basic Qualifications:
1. Highly knowledgeable of the industry, especially in the commercial component. Highly preferable to be coming from the industry itself
2. Technical knowledge is a plus
3. Has a strategic mindset
4. Good English and Chinese language skills
