Job Description of Process Engineer

Taylor Wharton is a fundamental departure from traditional manufacturing concentration to a total gas application focus. Selling "solutions" to the world's growing demand for a broad range of new products, technologies, and applications is the defining characteristic of the company. Taylor Wharton operates 20 manufacturing, sales, warehouse, and service facilities in six countries on four continents and markets its products in over 80 countries worldwide.

Responsibilities:
? Responsible for production layout
? Responsible to collect and submit reports on cycle time and methods for improvement
? Responsible to standardize operation processes
? Responsible to prepare operation processes, routing, and procedures
? Leads new tool and fixture design and their acquisition
? Leads manufacturing cost reduction initiatives
? Leads new manufacturing concept and implementation initiatives
? Responsible to solve and submit reports on manufacturing and technical issues
? Provides support for supplier review and development
? Provides support to prepare bill-of-material for parts,sub-assemblies,final assemblies when necessary
? Reviews design drawings for production feasibility
? Provides support for equipment acceptance
? May perform other special project or duties assigned by the General Manager of Operations
? Reports to the General Manager of Operations

Requirements:
? 5 years experience or above
? Pressure vessel manufacturing experience will be preferred
? College degree or above in mechanical major or related
? Fluent in Technical English
? Knowledge of TPS and 6 Sigma
? Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D software is desired;
